The Challenge:

The most current and reliable statistics compiled by the National Institute of Mental Health and delivered as testimony to the Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services, indicate that there are literally millions of youth in the United States with diagnosable mental illness including an array of children with Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attachment Disorder, Anti-Social Personality Disorder and so forth.  The problem is growing at a rate that many mental health professionals believe deserves the term "epidemic."
